KiMu is the first children’s art museum in the Netherlands and it treats kids as proper makers.
At KiMu, creativity isn’t just a skill, it’s a way of thinking. Giving kids the room to make, experiment, and occasionally fail helps them grow independence, imagination, and ownership of their ideas.
KiMu brings together children, parents, teachers and artists in a space where creativity is encouraged, shared and celebrated. We crafted the strategy, positioning, and visual identity. The idea is a system as open, playful, and flexible as the museum itself.
The identity is built from basic shapes, the building blocks of every creation. A modular visual system that guides but never dictates.
