The Artistic Research in and through Cinema master’s program at the Netherlands Film Academy is an advanced program designed for experienced, ambitious filmmakers and artists.
Researchers are offered time, space and budget to explore and experiment the boundaries of cinema. Throughout the program, the emphasis lies on questions rather than answers. After two years of research, the process is showcased at the EYE Filmmuseum in Amsterdam.
How do we present various international researchers, each with their own project, as a cohesive whole? How do you document research that is still being conducted?
We compiled fragments of the research into a printed publication. Additionally, each researcher is given a digital space where their entire research can be published in all conceivable media.
